Marcus Rashford Undergoing Medical at Aston Villa Ahead of Loan Move from Manchester United, With Option for Permanent Transfer

Marcus Rashford is currently undergoing a medical examination at Aston Villa as he nears a loan transfer from Manchester United. The agreement includes an option for Villa to make the move permanent for approximately £40 million. 

Aston Villa have agreed to cover a significant portion of Rashford's £325,000 weekly salary, with the exact percentage dependent on performance-related bonuses. This arrangement comes after Rashford's recent exclusion from Manchester United's matchday squads, attributed to training-related reasons by manager Rúben Amorim. 

This transfer is expected to be finalized before the Monday deadline, with Villa aiming to bolster their attacking options following the sale of Jhon Durán to Al Nassr.
