Mattia De Sciglio Scores Against Juventus but Declines to Celebrate.
Mattia De Sciglio, currently on loan at Empoli from Juventus, found the net against his parent club but chose not to celebrate out of respect. The Italian defender opened the scoring with a fourth-minute header at the Allianz Stadium, a gesture that was acknowledged by Juventus supporters.
Despite De Sciglio’s early goal, Juventus responded strongly, securing a 4-1 victory. Randal Kolo Muani played a key role, netting twice in the second half, while substitutes Dusan Vlahovic and Francisco Conceição added late goals to seal the win.
The result saw Juventus move into the top four of the Serie A standings, while Empoli remains just above the relegation zone.
