Michail Antonio's Road to Recovery: West Ham Star's Intensive Dubai Rehab After Devastating Car Crash

West Ham United forward Michail Antonio has intensified his rehabilitation efforts following a severe car accident in December 2024. The 34-year-old striker is currently undergoing a 12-day warm-weather training program in Dubai, aiming to expedite his recovery from a lower leg fracture sustained during the incident. 

The accident, which occurred on December 7, 2024, involved Antonio's £260,000 Ferrari FF veering off the road and colliding with trees. Rescue teams extricated him after 45 minutes, and he was subsequently airlifted to a London hospital, where he underwent surgery. 

Since his discharge in late December, Antonio has made periodic visits to West Ham's Rush Green training facility. His current stint in Dubai is focused on accelerating his return to full fitness, with plans to rejoin his teammates in London on February 20. 

Antonio's contract with West Ham is set to expire at the end of the season. The club is reportedly considering an extension to support his complete recovery and potential return to Premier League action.
