Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reiterated his unwavering commitment to securing the Premier League title, emphasizing his daily dedication to this objective.

He stated, "I'm obsessed with doing everything that I possibly can every single day to achieve it." Arteta further highlighted his focus on the journey rather than the end result, noting, "That's my obsession. I'm very obsessed by the process... the actual outcome, I cannot control."

As of February 22, 2025, Arsenal stands second in the Premier League table with 53 points from 25 matches, trailing leaders Liverpool by eight points. Reflecting on the team's performance, Arteta acknowledged the need for continuous improvement to surpass competitors like Liverpool. Despite achieving their second-highest Premier League points tally of 89 last season, he believes that aiming higher is essential. "With the level we are competing with and every season getting harder, we are going to have to improve again," Arteta remarked. He also emphasized the importance of striving for near-perfection, stating, "I don't know what perfect is but it has to be very close to the numbers that we've seen in recent years."
