Mohamed Elneny, who departed Arsenal in May 2024 after an eight-year tenure, recently visited his former teammates during their warm-weather training camp in Dubai. Elneny, who joined Arsenal in January 2016 from FC Basel, made 161 appearances for the club, scoring six goals.
Upon leaving Arsenal, he expressed his gratitude, stating, "After seeing his time at Arsenal come to an end, Mohamed Elneny admitted that the last eight years have been the best of his life."
Following his departure, Elneny signed with UAE Pro League side Al Jazira in July 2024. His recent visit coincided with Arsenal's training camp at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex in Dubai, where manager Mikel Arteta and the squad are preparing for the remainder of the season. This reunion highlights the enduring bonds between Elneny and his former club.
