Mohamed Salah Praises Erling Haaland's Goal-Scoring Feats, Ahead of Liverpool's Clash with Manchester City

Mohamed Salah has expressed his admiration for Erling Haaland, acknowledging the Norwegian striker's impressive goal-scoring achievements.

However, Salah noted the distinct challenges faced by wingers in comparison to strikers. He remarked, "I have great respect for Erling Haaland. He's a striker, so his life is a bit easier. Having such numbers as a winger is much harder. Any winger will tell you that." 

Salah emphasized the differences in their playing positions, stating, "So, I see the difference between us—he's a striker, and I'm a winger." 

These comments were made ahead of Liverpool's upcoming match against Manchester City, where Salah and Haaland are expected to be key figures for their respective teams.

In the current Premier League season, Mohamed Salah has been instrumental for Liverpool, leading the league with 24 goals and 15 assists over 26 appearances. 

Erling Haaland has also been prolific for Manchester City, contributing 19 goals and 3 assists in 25 matches.
