Nigerian singer Tems has won a Grammy Award in the Best African Music Performance category for her song *Love Me JeJe* at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards held on February 2, 2025.
Released on April 26, 2024, *Love Me JeJe* serves as the second single from her debut studio album, *Born in the Wild.* The song pays homage to Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 classic of the same title, incorporating elements of Afrobeats and R&B. Tems first introduced the track during her performance at Coachella 2024, and the official music video, which she directed, premiered on May 3, 2024, featuring visuals shot across various locations in Lagos.

The Best African Music Performance category was introduced by the Recording Academy in 2024 to recognize outstanding African music recordings. Tems' win highlights her significant contribution to the global music industry.

Throughout her career, Tems has received numerous accolades, including two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, four NAACP Image Awards, four BET Awards, and three Soul Train Music Awards.
