Pep Guardiola: "No Club Will Win 100 Points and League Title Four-in-a-Row"

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has expressed doubt that any team will replicate his squad's extraordinary feats of achieving a 100-point Premier League season and securing four consecutive league titles.

 In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Guardiola remarked, "No one is going to win 100 points, and four-in-a-row in the Premier League. It's not going to happen in my lifetime, I'm sorry!" 

Under Guardiola's leadership, Manchester City has set unprecedented records in English football. The 2017-18 season saw City reach the 100-point milestone, a first in Premier League history. This period of dominance culminated in the 2023-24 season when City clinched their fourth consecutive Premier League title, becoming the first English club to achieve this feat. 

Despite these accomplishments, the current season presents new challenges. City is trailing league leaders Liverpool by 16 points, a gap influenced by injuries to key players such as Jack Grealish and Manuel Akanji.
