Pérez, who will wear jersey number 27, expressed his enthusiasm about the move:
"I can't wait to show myself to the fans and my new teammates," he stated. "I am very ambitious and look forward to delivering a lot of goals and assists. My first impression of the club is very good; I am energized by the people I have already met."
Prior to joining PSV, Pérez had been training with Rayo Majadahonda to maintain his fitness levels. He is expected to integrate into the team's training sessions under head coach Peter Bosz immediately.
While Pérez will not be eligible to participate in the UEFA Champions League this season due to registration deadlines, he will be available for domestic competitions, including the Eredivisie and the KNVB Beker. PSV currently holds second place in the Eredivisie, trailing Ajax by five points with eleven matches remaining.
Throughout his career, Pérez has played for several prominent clubs, including Arsenal FC, West Ham United, Deportivo Alavés, and PAOK Saloniki. His extensive experience is expected to be a valuable asset to PSV as they pursue domestic and international success this season.
