Renato Veiga, the 21-year-old defender on loan from Chelsea, sustained an injury to the tendon of the plantar gracilis muscle in his right leg during Juventus' 3-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven on February 19, 2025.

Following the match, Veiga underwent diagnostic tests at J|Medical, confirming the injury.

While Juventus has not specified the exact recovery timeline, reports suggest that Veiga is expected to be sidelined for approximately two to three weeks.

This injury is anticipated to cause Veiga to miss several upcoming fixtures, including matches against Cagliari and Verona in Serie A, as well as the Coppa Italia encounter with Empoli.

The club will continue to monitor his progress and provide updates on his recovery.
