Tottenham Agrees Loan Deal with Chelsea for Axel Disasi, but Defender Rejects Move as He Has Already Agreed Terms with Aston Villa

Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement with Chelsea for the loan of defender Axel Disasi. The deal does not include a buy option clause and includes a loan fee. However, Disasi has declined Tottenham's offer, as he has already agreed to personal terms with Aston Villa.
Chelsea is reportedly delaying Disasi's loan move to Aston Villa to explore potentially more favorable offers from other clubs. Tottenham Hotspur, currently facing defensive challenges, is considering an approach for Disasi if their attempts to sign Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan do not materialize.

Chelsea is hesitant to strengthen a direct competitor in the Champions League race and prefers to loan Disasi to Spurs. Currently, Disasi has not consented to join Tottenham, leaving his future uncertain. Tottenham hopes Disasi will eventually agree, looking to add depth to their defensive rotation.

In the meantime, Tottenham has secured the services of center-back Kevin Danso from Lens on an initial loan deal, with a €25 million obligation to buy in the summer. This move addresses the club's defensive needs following injuries to key players.
