Alejandro Garnacho to Treat Manchester United Teammates to Dinner After Tunnel Incident, Says Rúben Amorim

Alejandro Garnacho, the Manchester United winger, has agreed to treat his teammates to dinner following his reaction to being substituted during the club's 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town.

Garnacho was replaced just before halftime after teammate Patrick Dorgu received a red card, prompting a tactical reshuffle by manager Rúben Amorim. Instead of joining the bench, Garnacho headed directly to the dressing room, a move that raised concerns about his conduct.

In addressing the incident, Amorim emphasized the importance of maintaining professionalism and perception at a club of Manchester United's stature. He stated that Garnacho would "pay a dinner to all the team" as a gesture of apology and to reinforce team unity. Amorim acknowledged that while Garnacho had changed his clothes due to being wet and watched the remainder of the match from the dressing room, the young player needed to understand the significance of his actions in the context of the club's image.
