FC Barcelona's La Liga match against CA Osasuna, scheduled for Saturday evening at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, was postponed shortly before kick-off due to the sudden passing of the club's first-team doctor, Carles Miñarro Garcia. The club expressed profound sadness over the loss and extended heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
Miñarro Garcia, aged 50, had been associated with FC Barcelona since 2017, initially serving with the futsal team before joining the first-team medical staff last season. His unexpected death occurred on Saturday afternoon, leading to the match's postponement. The decision was made in consultation with Osasuna and La Liga officials, acknowledging the emotional impact on the team and staff.

Fans present at the stadium were informed of the postponement approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled kick-off. Both FC Barcelona and CA Osasuna have conveyed their sympathies to Miñarro Garcia's family during this difficult time. The rescheduled date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
