David Moyes has been named the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month for February 2025, marking the 11th time in his career that he has received this prestigious accolade. The Everton manager's achievement places him joint-third on the all-time list, alongside Pep Guardiola, with only Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsène Wenger having won the award more frequently.

This recognition comes during Moyes' second spell at Everton, which began in January 2025. Under his leadership, the team enjoyed an unbeaten February, securing two wins and three draws. Notable results included a commanding 4-0 victory over Leicester City, a dramatic 2-2 Merseyside derby draw against league leaders Liverpool, and a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Manchester United.

Moyes topped a competitive shortlist of nominees for the award, which included:
- **Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace)**: Guided his team to three wins in four matches, including impressive victories over Manchester United and Aston Villa.
- **Ange Postecoglou (Tottenham Hotspur)**: Oversaw a resurgence at Spurs, securing three wins in four games, including a 2-0 derby success at Brentford.
- **Marco Silva (Fulham)**: Helped Fulham strengthen their European ambitions with three wins, including a historic first Premier League away victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
- **Arne Slot (Liverpool)**: Maintained Liverpool's dominance at the top of the table with an unbeaten month, achieving four wins and two draws.

Reflecting on the award, Moyes credited his players for their commitment and hard work. "For me to join a club and, near enough in my first month, get Manager of the Month is more about the commitment of the players—their attitude and the way they've worked has been fabulous," he said. Moyes also acknowledged the competitive nature of the Premier League, highlighting the presence of many talented coaches.

This is Moyes' first Manager of the Month award since March 2013, during the final months of his initial tenure at Everton. His return to Goodison Park has been marked by a significant turnaround, with the team now 15 points clear of the relegation zone and looking to build on their recent form.
