Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that forward Cole Palmer will miss England's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia due to a muscle injury. Palmer was absent from Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday, with Mikel Merino's header securing the win for Arsenal.
Maersca stated that Palmer underwent a precautionary scan on Monday to assess the injury's severity. He expressed hope that Palmer would return to action after the international break, but emphasized that recovery timelines would depend on the scan results.

Regarding Palmer's recent form, Maresca noted that while scoring goals is important, Palmer remains positive despite an eight-game goal drought. He praised Palmer's attitude and performance in training, highlighting his professionalism during this challenging period.

Looking ahead, Maresca anticipates that Jackson and Madueke could rejoin the team for the match against Tottenham on April 3, which may provide a boost to Chelsea's attacking options.
