Mesut Özil Attends Arsenal's 1-0 Victory Over Chelsea at Emirates Stadium

Former Arsenal midfielder Mesut Özil attended today's Premier League match at Emirates Stadium, where Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory over Chelsea. Özil shared his presence at the stadium through a post on his Instagram account. 

The decisive moment of the match occurred in the 20th minute when Mikel Merino, filling in as a striker due to injuries, scored with a header from a Martin Ødegaard corner. This goal not only ended Arsenal's four-game winless streak but also kept their slim title hopes alive, positioning them 12 points behind league leaders Liverpool with nine matches remaining. 

Chelsea, hindered by the absence of key attackers Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson due to injuries, struggled to create significant offensive opportunities. Their best chance came in the 37th minute when Marc Cucurella's volley narrowly missed the target. 

This victory solidifies Arsenal's second-place standing in the Premier League, four points ahead of Nottingham Forest, and enhances their prospects for Champions League qualification in the upcoming season.
