Rémy joined Chelsea in August 2014, signing a four-year contract after the club activated his £10.5 million release clause from Queens Park Rangers. He made his debut on September 13, 2014, against Swansea City, scoring in a 4–2 victory. During his tenure at Chelsea, Rémy made 47 appearances and scored 12 goals, contributing to the team's Premier League title and League Cup victories in the 2014–15 season.
Prior to his move to Chelsea, Rémy had been linked with other Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool. Despite these opportunities, he chose Chelsea, a decision he stands by, citing the success and experiences gained during his time at Stamford Bridge.
After leaving Chelsea, Rémy had stints with several clubs, including Crystal Palace, Las Palmas, Getafe, Lille, and Çaykur Rizespor, before retiring from professional football. Throughout his career, he earned 30 caps for the French national team, scoring seven goals.
