Nollywood actress Chacha Eke has confirmed the passing of her mother, revealing that she died from heart failure.
In a recent video, Chacha shared that her mother passed away on February 19, 2025, at approximately 7:00 a.m., after developing heart failure around 1:00 a.m. She received the news from her brother, who informed her that their mother's body had already been taken to the mortuary by the time he called.
Following the announcement, Chacha's husband, Austin Faani, expressed his grief on social media, describing his mother-in-law as the "grand matriarch of God's best gifts to him" and praying for her peaceful repose. In response, fans and colleagues have flooded social media with condolences, offering support during this difficult time.
