Sadio Mane Welcomes First Child with Wife Aisha Tamba and Dedicates Goal to Baby Daughter

Sadio Mane, the 32-year-old forward for Al-Nassr, and his 19-year-old wife, Aisha Tamba, have welcomed their first child, a daughter.

The couple married in January 2024 in Keur Massar, a suburb of Dakar, Senegal, just six days before the Africa Cup of Nations commenced. Their relationship had been kept private prior to their marriage, with Tamba reportedly still a student at the time. 

To celebrate the birth, Mane dedicated a goal during Al-Nassr's 3-1 victory over Al-Kholood by performing a rocking motion with his arms, symbolizing cradling a baby. The club later shared a video of Mane reciting a Quranic verse, expressing gratitude for the blessing of their daughter. 

Mane's journey to fatherhood follows a swift courtship; he met Tamba through his agent, who had a professional relationship with her father, a construction manager. The couple's first child arrives 14 months after their wedding, marking a joyous milestone in their personal lives.
