Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Arrives at Senate Building with Husband Amid Ongoing Political Tensions

On the morning of March 5, 2025, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, arrived at the Nigerian Senate building accompanied by her husband, High Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan. Upon arrival, she proceeded to the chambers, sharing a brief moment with her husband before entering to take her seat. 

This appearance follows recent tensions within the Senate, where Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment. The matter is currently under review by both the courts and the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges. 

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has been actively involved in her constituency, notably during the recent Yuletide season. Alongside her husband, she organized an empowerment program benefiting 250 constituents, primarily women. The initiative included raffles and distributions of items such as tricycles, sewing machines, deep freezers, and grinding machines, aiming to enhance the beneficiaries' businesses and financial independence.
