Ijoba Lande, a Nigerian actor and comedian, has issued an apology to filmmaker Funke Akindele following a viral video that misrepresented his comments regarding payment for a past project.
Initially, Lande mentioned being paid ₦90,000 but later clarified the correct amount was ₦190,000. He explained that the video had been edited to distort his words and asked for Akindele's forgiveness, emphasizing he had no intention of damaging her reputation.
Lande also shared insights into his work with Akindele, acknowledging her intervention to ensure he received a fairer payment. Expressing regret for the confusion caused, he pleaded with her to refrain from pursuing legal action.
