Ancelotti Confirms Camavinga and Alaba Likely to Miss Copa del Rey Final Against Barcelona

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that both Eduardo Camavinga and David Alaba are highly unlikely to feature in the upcoming Copa del Rey final against Barcelona, scheduled for Saturday, April 26, in Sevilla.

Camavinga sustained an abductor injury during Real Madrid's recent 1-0 LaLiga victory over Getafe. Despite attempting to continue, he was forced to leave the pitch, and his participation in the final is now considered doubtful. Similarly, Alaba was substituted at halftime in the same match due to muscle discomfort, possibly a muscular injury, casting significant doubt over his availability for the decisive encounter.

These injuries add to Real Madrid's defensive challenges, as Ferland Mendy remains sidelined and was not even included in the squad for the Getafe match. In light of these absences, Ancelotti is expected to rely on Fran García to fill the left-back position, especially to counter Barcelona's emerging talent, 17-year-old Lamine Yamal.
