Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that both Riccardo Calafiori and Jorginho will be unavailable for the team's upcoming fixtures due to injuries.
"Richy [Calafiori] is OUT & Jorginho as well. For Jorginho, I think unfortunately it will be a few weeks," Arteta stated.

When asked about Jorginho's potential return before the end of the season, Arteta expressed cautious optimism:

"I hope so [Jorginho is back before the end of the season], but I’m not certain, so we have to see how he evolves in the next few days, I would say a few weeks."

He further elaborated on the midfielder's condition:

"The doctor was quite cautious still about talking about any dates, so let’s see. The good news is that he’s improving, he’s feeling much better. It was quite a scary situation & he’s in a good place now."

Calafiori's injury compounds Arsenal's defensive challenges, as he had previously suffered a knee issue during international duty with Italy. The team is already contending with injuries to key defenders, including Ben White, Jurrien Timber, and Gabriel, ahead of their crucial Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsenal is set to face Crystal Palace next, followed by the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against PSG at the Emirates Stadium on April 29.
