Leeds United delivered a dominant 6–0 victory over Stoke City at Elland Road. Dutch forward Joel Piroe was the standout performer, scoring four goals to bring his season tally to 19, making him the Championship's leading scorer. The result lifted Leeds to the top of the table with 94 points, putting pressure on Burnley to deliver a strong performance later in the day.

Burnley responded with a 2–1 win against Sheffield United at Turf Moor. Captain Josh Brownhill netted both goals, including a decisive penalty, securing Burnley's immediate return to the Premier League after just one season in the Championship. The win also confirmed Leeds United’s promotion, as Sheffield United were left unable to close the gap in the standings.

Both Burnley and Leeds now sit atop the Championship on 94 points, with two matches remaining. Sheffield United, third with 86 points, will look to secure promotion through the playoff route.

This achievement marks Burnley manager Scott Parker's third Premier League promotion, following previous successes with Fulham and Bournemouth. Leeds United's head coach Daniel Farke also celebrates his third promotion to the top flight, having guided Norwich City there twice in the past.

Celebrations erupted at both Elland Road and Turf Moor as players and supporters celebrated the return to the Premier League. Burnley’s strong defensive form has been key throughout the season, conceding only 15 goals in 44 matches, while Leeds have impressed with their attacking prowess, scoring 89 goals so far.
