Former Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi returned to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona over the weekend to witness his former team's 2-1 victory over AC Milan. Lavezzi, who played for Napoli from 2007 to 2012, made significant contributions during his tenure, including a hat-trick in a 3–1 victory over Pisa in the Coppa Italia and scoring in a 3–0 victory over Fiorentina.

In the recent match against AC Milan, Napoli secured a 2-1 win with early goals from Matteo Politano and Romelu Lukaku. Politano opened the scoring just over a minute into the game, and Lukaku doubled the lead in the 19th minute. Despite a missed penalty by Milan's Santiago Gimenez and a late goal by Luka Jovic, Napoli held on for the victory.

This win keeps Napoli within three points of Serie A leaders Inter Milan, maintaining their pursuit of the title.
