Hansi Flick Addresses Robert Lewandowski's Injury Status
FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has provided an update on the condition of striker Robert Lewandowski, who is currently sidelined due to a left hamstring injury sustained during the recent match against Celta de Vigo. The injury is expected to keep Lewandowski out of action for approximately two to four weeks, raising concerns about his availability for the upcoming Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Barcelona's fixture against Mallorca, Flick expressed optimism about Lewandowski's eventual return:
“Lewandowski? When he's ready to play and return, we'll be happy about that.”
However, he also emphasized the uncertainty surrounding the striker's recovery timeline:
“At the moment, we don't know how long it will take. And we don't want to say anything either.”
