Kylian Mbappé received a straight red card during Real Madrid's La Liga clash against Alavés for a dangerous tackle on Antonio Blanco.
The incident occurred in the 39th minute when Mbappé delivered a high and late challenge, catching Blanco on the shin with his studs. Initially shown a yellow card, the referee upgraded it to red after a VAR review.
At the time of Mbappé's dismissal, Real Madrid was leading 1-0, courtesy of an early goal from Eduardo Camavinga. The match result and additional goal scorers are yet to be confirmed as the game is ongoing.
