Former West Ham and France international footballer Dimitri Payet is currently under police investigation in Brazil following serious allegations made by his former partner, Brazilian lawyer and social media influencer Larissa Ferrari. 
Ferrari claims that during their seven-month relationship, Payet subjected her to various forms of abuse, including psychological manipulation, physical assault, and sexual coercion.
She alleges that he forced her to perform degrading acts such as drinking her own urine, licking the floor, and drinking from a toilet, all of which he reportedly filmed.
Ferrari, who met Payet through Instagram in August 2024, asserts that she was emotionally vulnerable at the time and believes Payet exploited this vulnerability to manipulate her. She has provided evidence, including photos and messages, to the authorities to support her claims. The police in Rio de Janeiro have confirmed that an official investigation is underway.
As of now, Dimitri Payet has not publicly commented on the allegations. His current club, Vasco da Gama, has also not issued a statement regarding the matter.
