Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee has been dealt a significant blow, as manager Ruben Amorim confirmed that the 23-year-old will miss the remainder of the season due to a hamstring injury.
The Netherlands international sustained the injury during United's 4-1 Premier League defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday.
Zirkzee, who joined Manchester United from Serie A side Bologna last July, has shown marked improvement in form since the start of 2025. Despite a slow beginning to his tenure at Old Trafford, the forward has become an integral part of the squad, contributing crucial goals, including a recent strike in the Europa League quarter-final first leg against Lyon.
