Remo Stars have clinched their first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title!
The Sky Blue Stars secured the championship with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The decisive goal came in the 84th minute, courtesy of Olamilekan Adedayo, igniting celebrations in Ikenne and beyond.
This historic win not only marks Remo Stars' inaugural league title but also makes them the first South-West club to triumph in the NPFL since Julius Berger in 2000, and the first privately owned club to claim the title in two decades.
Captain Junior Nduka's leadership was pivotal throughout the season, transforming the team from perennial runners-up to champions. With 68 points from 35 matches, Remo Stars have established an unassailable lead, with three games remaining in the season.
