Rúben Amorim has unequivocally dismissed speculation linking club captain Bruno Fernandes with a transfer to Real Madrid. Addressing recent rumors, Amorim stated, "Bruno Fernandes to Real Madrid? It will NOT happen. He’s going nowhere."
Amorim emphasized Fernandes' integral role in United's ambitions, particularly their pursuit of Premier League success. He remarked, "One day we want to win the Premier League again. So we want the best players to continue with us... and Bruno won’t leave, I already told him."

Fernandes has been a pivotal figure for Manchester United, contributing significantly since his arrival in 2020. To date, he has amassed 95 goals and 81 assists in 277 appearances. This season alone, Fernandes has netted 16 goals in 44 matches, underscoring his importance to the team's performance.

Amid reports of Real Madrid's interest, including claims of scouts attending United matches and a potential £90 million bid, Amorim remains steadfast in retaining Fernandes.
