Tanzanian music icon, Diamond Platnumz, drew attention as he stepped out in a complete Nigerian Aso Ebi outfit during the Lagos celebration of Priscilla Ojo’s wedding to Juma Jux.
The ceremony, which was part of a series of events marking the union of the actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter and her Tanzanian partner, was held in Lagos and reflected a beautiful blend of Nigerian and Tanzanian cultures. Diamond Platnumz wore a striking pink agbada, complemented with a matching traditional Yoruba cap (fila) and native beads—demonstrating his appreciation for Nigerian tradition and style.
His appearance not only brought an East African presence to the event but also emphasized the deep cultural connection between the bride and groom’s backgrounds. Guests praised the singer for embracing Yoruba fashion and celebrating the union in a culturally respectful way.
Earlier, the wedding festivities had kicked off with an Islamic ceremony in Tanzania on February 7, 2025. That intimate event was attended by family and close friends, including Iyabo Ojo, influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa, and Diamond Platnumz himself. Additional ceremonies are expected to take place in multiple locations to honour both families’ cultures and traditions.
