Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has claimed the prestigious Oracle Most Powerful Goal award for the 2024/25 Premier League season. His thunderous strike against Liverpool in a thrilling 3-3 draw in December was measured at an average speed of 108.94 km/h, making it the fastest goal of the season from outside the 18-yard box that did not take a deflection.
Isak’s goal was a moment of sheer brilliance. After breaking away from Virgil van Dijk, he created just enough space to unleash a rocket into the top-right corner, leaving the Liverpool defense and goalkeeper with no chance. The goal was also recognized as the December Guinness Goal of the Month, further cementing its place as one of the standout strikes of the season.
The Swedish forward edged out Antoine Semenyo, whose powerful finish against Leicester City recorded a speed of 107.71 km/h, securing second place in the rankings. Other notable entries in the top ten included strikes from Yves Bissouma, Ross Barkley, Declan Rice, and Jeremy Doku, all showcasing the incredible power and precision required to make the list.
