FC Barcelona head coach, Hansi Flick, recently provided a reassuring update regarding midfielder Gavi's condition following concerns during the team's match against Real Valladolid.
Gavi finished the match with cramps in both legs and was substituted in the 78th minute. However, subsequent medical assessments revealed no serious injury, with the discomfort attributed solely to muscle cramps.
Flick confirmed that Gavi had reported feeling fine and did not have any injury. He emphasized that Gavi’s condition should remain stable, and the player is expected to be available for the return leg of the Champions League semifinal against Milan, barring any unforeseen complications.
Earlier this season, Flick had commended Gavi’s recovery from a significant knee injury sustained in 2023. He noted that the young midfielder had returned to peak form and was seamlessly reintegrating into the team. Based on this latest update, Gavi’s health appears to be stable, and he is anticipated to be available for future fixtures.
