Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has equalled the Premier League record for the most combined goals and assists in a single season, recording 47 goal involvements during the 2024–25 campaign. This achievement matches the longstanding record jointly held by Alan Shearer and Andy Cole.
Salah’s tally includes 28 goals and 19 assists across 38 league appearances, underscoring his crucial role in Liverpool’s successful title-winning season under manager Arne Slot. His consistent performances were pivotal as the club secured their second Premier League title under Slot’s leadership.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Salah received multiple individual accolades. He was named Premier League Player of the Season for the second time, joining an elite group of players who have won the award on multiple occasions. He also claimed both the Golden Boot and Playmaker awards, becoming the first player in Premier League history to win all three honours in a single season.

This season also marked several other milestones for Salah. He became the first player to register both a goal and an assist in eight different Premier League matches within a single campaign. Additionally, he is now the only player to record more than 40 goal involvements in two separate Premier League seasons, having previously reached that milestone in the 2017–18 season.

At 32 years old, Mohamed Salah continues to perform at the highest level, further cementing his status as one of the greatest players in Premier League history.
