PSG Celebrate Winning Ligue 1 with Custom WWE Championship Belt

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) celebrated their 2024–2025 Ligue 1 championship in grand style, incorporating a unique collaboration with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to mark the occasion. 

As part of their title celebrations, PSG introduced a custom-designed WWE x PSG Legacy Championship Title Belt, blending the worlds of football and professional wrestling. This exclusive belt, adorned with PSG's iconic crest and colors, features five rhinestone embellishments on the center plate and three on each side plate. The back of the strap displays the club's crest along with its founding year, symbolizing the team's storied history. 

This initiative is part of WWE's tradition of presenting custom championship belts to sports teams celebrating significant victories. Since 2014, WWE has honored champions across various sports, including the NFL, MLB, NBA, and international football leagues, with bespoke title belts featuring commemorative side plates .

PSG clinched their 13th Ligue 1 title with a commanding performance throughout the season, finishing with 84 points, well ahead of their closest rivals . The team's dominance was evident as they secured the championship with several games to spare. 

The title celebrations at Parc des Princes were marked by a festive atmosphere, including a spontaneous dance-off between players and ultras, showcasing the unity and joy within the PSG community . The introduction of the WWE championship belt added a unique flair to the festivities, symbolizing the team's triumph and the fusion of sports entertainment cultures.
