Will Still Appointed Southampton Men’s First Team Manager on Three-Year Deal

Will Still has been appointed as the new Men’s First Team Manager of Southampton Football Club, signing a three-year deal with the Championship side. The 32-year-old, widely regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young coaches, takes charge as the club looks to rebuild and mount a return to the Premier League.

Still, born in Belgium to English parents, gained recognition for his tactical acumen during managerial spells in France with Stade de Reims and RC Lens. Most recently, he led Lens to an impressive eighth-place finish in Ligue 1 during the 2024–25 season.

His move to Southampton also brings him closer to his partner, Sky Sports presenter Emma Saunders, who has been undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer and recovering from encephalitis. Still acknowledged the personal significance of the move while expressing his ambition:
