Brad Pitt’s Los Feliz mansion burglarized during UK film promotion
Los Angeles authorities are currently investigating a burglary at Brad Pitt’s residence in the Los Feliz neighborhood. The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., when three suspects allegedly scaled the property’s perimeter fence and broke into the home through a front window. Once inside, the intruders reportedly ransacked multiple rooms before fleeing with an unspecified quantity of personal belongings.
At the time of the break-in, the Oscar-winning actor was abroad on a promotional tour for his new film, F1: The Movie, recently screened at its London premiere on June 23. Pitt, 61, purchased the modernist "Steel House" in Los Feliz in April 2023 for $5.5 million. The home features amenities such as a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and expansive city views.
Though the exact nature and value of the stolen items remain undisclosed, the burglary is emblematic of a growing trend targeting celebrity residences in affluent areas of Los Angeles. In recent months, other notable figures such as Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Jessie J, and Oliver Giroud have also fallen victim to similar break-ins.
Representatives for Pitt have declined to provide public comment regarding the incident. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department has launched an urgent investigation into the break-in, and no arrests have yet been announced.
