Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo Injured Late in Nations League Final Against Spain

Cristiano Ronaldo was forced off late in the UEFA Nations League final after sustaining an injury in the 87th minute. The Portuguese captain had earlier made a significant impact on the match by scoring the equaliser in a 2–2 draw against Spain at the Allianz Arena.
He converted a volley in the 61st minute to level the game, but with just minutes left on the clock, he appeared to suffer a muscle knock. Ronaldo was visibly in discomfort and was substituted immediately for Gonçalo Ramos.

Initial reports suggest the injury may be muscular, but no official statement has been released yet. The Portuguese medical team is expected to carry out a full assessment to determine the severity of the issue.

His potential absence could impact both Portugal and his club side, Al-Nassr, especially with important fixtures on the horizon. Coach Roberto Martínez may need to adjust his attacking setup should Ronaldo be ruled out.
