The new season will begin on Friday, 15 August 2025, with Liverpool hosting Bournemouth at Anfield in the opening match scheduled for 20:00 BST. One of the major games of the weekend will see Manchester United face Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday, 17 August, with a 16:30 BST kick-off.

Other opening weekend fixtures include Manchester City playing against Wolves on Saturday, 16 August, while Chelsea will face Crystal Palace and Tottenham will host Burnley. Leeds, one of the newly promoted teams, will take on Everton on Monday, 18 August. Sunderland, also newly promoted, will face West Ham.

All 380 matches have been confirmed and the full schedule, including kick-off times, has been published. Most weekend games are set for 15:00 UK time, with midweek matches typically kicking off at 19:45. Sky Sports will broadcast at least 215 matches this season, including Liverpool’s opener and the Manchester United vs. Arsenal clash.

For the festive period, there will be no games on Christmas Eve, but fixtures are scheduled for Boxing Day and New Year’s rounds. The final day of the season is set for Sunday, 24 May 2026, with all ten matches kicking off at the same time.

The new campaign will start with a major test for defending champions Liverpool, while the Manchester United vs. Arsenal fixture could play a key role in shaping the title race. Promoted clubs like Leeds, Sunderland, and Burnley will all face strong challenges early on, with national television coverage ensuring fans can follow the action live.
