Snoop Dogg Mourns Beloved French Bulldog Juelz After Nearly 11 Years Together

Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg is mourning the loss of Juelz, his cherished French Bulldog, who passed away after nearly 11 years as part of the Broadus family. The news was shared by the 53‑year‑old icon on Instagram, where he posted two heartfelt tributes.
In his initial post on June 11, Snoop shared a video of Juelz seated in the front passenger seat during a car ride, accompanied by the soulful strains of Weldon Irvine’s “Morning Sunrise.” His caption read simply:
“Rip @juelzbroadus 😢 Thank wiz for giving him to me 🌹🕊️”
Later, he followed up with a montage of touching moments spanning Juelz’s life—from sightseeing with family to playful interactions with friends—set to Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again.” The caption: “Miss my dogg @juelzbroadus.”
Juelz was gifted to Snoop by Wiz Khalifa in 2014 to celebrate the rapper’s 43rd birthday. He quickly became a beloved member of the household and even enjoyed his own Instagram account, which featured daily adventures with Snoop, his children, and celebrity guests. The account’s last post was in June 2021.
Over the years, Juelz accompanied Snoop on studio sessions, family events, and tours, often making public appearances alongside Snoop’s other French Bulldog, Frank. His influence even extended to Snoop’s pet-focused ventures—he occasionally served as a mascot for the rapper’s pup-centric lifestyle brand.
Snoop’s outpouring of grief has resonated deeply with fans and fellow pet lovers. Many have expressed heartfelt condolences and shared personal reflections on the profound bond between owners and their fur babies.
This loss follows closely on the heels of Snoop’s recent honor at the BET Awards on June 9, where he received the Ultimate Icon Award—presented by his longtime friend and collaborator, Dr. Dre.
