Stefano Pioli Set to Sign Three-Year Deal as Fiorentina's New Head Coach

Stefano Pioli is set to become the new head coach of Fiorentina, with a verbal agreement in place for a three-year contract starting in July. The 59-year-old Italian manager, who currently coaches Al-Nassr, has reportedly agreed to join Fiorentina following the departure of Raffaele Palladino.

Pioli's appointment is subject to resolving a few bureaucratic and fiscal issues related to his current role in Saudi Arabia. Fiorentina's sporting director Daniele Prade is working to iron out these details, including taxation issues and appointing a coach advisor to act as a bridge between Pioli and the club management.

Pioli's move to Fiorentina would mark a return to Serie A, where he previously managed AC Milan, leading the team to the league title in the 2021-2022 season. He is also expected to bring in Edin Džeko, a prolific Bosnian striker, to bolster the team's attacking lineup.
