Viktor Gyokeres Rejects Manchester United Move

Viktor Gyokeres, the prolific Sporting Lisbon striker, has reportedly turned down a potential move to Manchester United, despite speculation linking him with a reunion with his former manager Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.
Gyokeres's agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, informed Manchester United that his client is not interested in joining the club, even with the prospect of working with Amorim again. This decision may be due to Gyokeres's desire to play in the Champions League regularly and compete for major trophies.

The Swedish international has emerged as one of Europe's most coveted forwards, scoring 54 goals in 52 appearances for Sporting Lisbon last season. Other top clubs, such as Arsenal, are reportedly monitoring the situation closely. Arsenal is said to have made an opening bid of £55 million for Gyokeres, which was rejected by Sporting. The club is now preparing a second offer to secure the player's services.

Viktor Gyokeres prioritizes playing in the Champions League and competing for major trophies. Sporting demands £85 million, while Gyokeres had a gentleman's agreement with the club for a £55 million transfer fee.
