2027 Elections: BBNaija’s Phyna Endorses Omoyele Sowore, Says Peter Obi “Is Not a Saint”

Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna and winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, has publicly declared her support for activist and politician Omoyele Sowore ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential elections.

In a candid post shared on her official X (formerly Twitter) account, Phyna expressed her disillusionment with former Labour Party candidate Peter Obi, stating that he is “not a saint” as many believe. She went on to describe Sowore as Nigeria’s “only hope” at this point.

Phyna’s post reads:  

“Is @YeleSowore going to contest in 2027? If yes, sir I am personally ready. Because from what I just saw even Obi is not a saint. 🥹 Sowore is looking like our only hope at this point.”  

“I said my own and piece… everyone has their opinions but unfortunately some monkeys are masturbating and doing soapy on my CS… 😂😂😂 omo everybody wants a better Nigeria and I see mine in Sowore at this point 🧍🏽‍♀️🚣🏽🚣🏽🚣🏽 for your tears.”

Sowore, who ran under the African Action Congress (AAC) in the last election, has not yet confirmed his candidacy for 2027. Phyna’s remarks have sparked widespread reactions online, with supporters and critics alike weighing in on her bold political stance.
