Lacazette has already completed his medical and will play home matches at Tabuk’s 12,000-capacity King Khalid Sports City Stadium. This temporary venue will serve as Neom FC’s base until the completion of two futuristic stadiums currently under construction—one built on a cliffside and the other suspended 350 metres in the air—both expected to be ready around the time of the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
His arrival marks an ambitious step for Neom FC, which is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader urban development initiative. The club aims to attract experienced international players, and Lacazette is expected to bring leadership and scoring ability to the squad.
Lacazette began his professional career at Lyon, where he emerged as a top scorer and was named Ligue 1 Player of the Year in the 2014–15 season. He later moved to Arsenal in 2017, scoring 71 goals and providing 35 assists in 206 appearances, and won the FA Cup in 2020. He returned to Lyon in 2022 and added 61 goals in 94 games before his departure.
Neom FC’s squad also includes former Premier League defender Ahmed Hegazy, highlighting the club’s strategy of building a competitive team through experienced talent.
