Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny has debuted a striking new blonde hairstyle, joining a growing trend among his teammates. Inspired by fellow players Lamine Yamal, Gavi, and Robert Lewandowski—who recently embraced the platinum look—Szczęsny shared his transformation on social media, humorously captioning it “we all make mistakes”.

The Polish shot-stopper didn’t stop there. Within 24 hours, he dyed his hair black, only to shave it off entirely later that day. He jokingly explained that his wife wasn’t fond of either look, prompting the drastic change.

Szczęsny, who signed a two-year contract extension with Barcelona earlier this month, is expected to return for preseason training soon. Whether his hairstyle sticks or not, he’s certainly made a splash off the pitch.
