Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola attended Oasis’s long-awaited reunion show at Heaton Park in Manchester on Friday night, July 11, 2025, accompanied by his daughter Maria. The concert marked Oasis’s return to their hometown stage after nearly 16 years.
During the event, Guardiola and Maria were seen singing along joyfully to Oasis’s classic “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” with Guardiola spotted wearing a retro City jersey.
At one point during the concert, Liam Gallagher dedicated the song “D’You Know What I Mean?” to Guardiola, calling him “the greatest manager of all time.” The statement received a mixed response, with some sections of the crowd—believed to include Manchester United fans—booing. Noel Gallagher quickly defended Guardiola, asking the crowd, “Who are you booing?”
The atmosphere remained light-hearted, as a cardboard cut-out of Guardiola was brought onstage, further adding to the night’s playful energy. Backstage, Guardiola was seen mingling with the Gallagher family, including Noel’s children Donovan, Sonny, and Anais, and Liam’s sons Gene and Lennon.
This was the first of five sold-out concerts at Heaton Park as part of Oasis’s ‘Oasis Live 25’ reunion tour, which began in Cardiff and continues across the UK this summer.
