Nelson Semedo Joins Fenerbahçe After Five-Year Wolves Tenure

Portuguese right-back Nelson Semedo has left Wolves on a free transfer and signed with Fenerbahçe, reuniting with manager José Mourinho.

Semedo declined a four-year extension from Wolves, opting for a new challenge after five seasons and 182 appearances. He captained the side during the 2024–25 season and played a key role in helping Wolves avoid relegation.

His farewell message was heartfelt: “I met beautiful people that I will take in my heart and led the club as a captain. I love you and I’ll miss you.”

Fenerbahçe are preparing for a Champions League qualifier against Feyenoord, and Semedo is expected to bolster their defense alongside new signing Milan Škriniar.
