Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has finalized a high-profile transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray, securing a four-year deal with the Turkish football powerhouse.
The transfer, reportedly worth €75 million, ranks among the most expensive in the history of the Turkish Süper Lig. Galatasaray will pay €40 million upfront, with the remaining amount structured through installment payments by 2026. Napoli also negotiated a 10% sell-on clause and added a condition preventing Osimhen from joining another Serie A club for two seasons.
Osimhen, who dazzled fans during his loan spell last season, scored 37 goals and delivered eight assists in 41 appearances—playing a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s domestic double. His explosive performance and connection with supporters cemented the club’s determination to bring him back permanently.
Despite interest from Saudi giants Al-Hilal, Osimhen chose to stay in Istanbul, emphasizing loyalty and his bond with Galatasaray fans. The club plans a grand unveiling ceremony ahead of their upcoming friendly against Lazio.
