Arsenal dominated the spotlight at the 2025 PFA Awards, with three players named in the Premier League Team of the Year. William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, and Declan Rice all earned recognition from their fellow professionals, reflecting the Gunners’ defensive solidity and midfield strength that defined their season.
Liverpool were also strongly represented, with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, and Alexis Mac Allister included. Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels and Chris Wood, Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, and Newcastle’s Alexander Isak completed the XI.
Salah took home the men’s Player of the Year award for a record-equalling third time after a remarkable season in which he scored 29 goals and delivered 18 assists to inspire Liverpool’s title win.
On the women’s side, Arsenal’s Mariona Caldentey crowned a stunning debut season by being named Women’s Player of the Year. She scored 19 goals across competitions, including eight in the Champions League, helping the Gunners lift the Women’s Champions League trophy.
Arsenal were equally dominant in the WSL Team of the Year, with Emily Fox, Kim Little, Alessia Russo, and Caldentey all earning places.
